Tenuta Scuotto began in 2008, when Neapolitan businessman Eduardo Scuotto bought a parcel of land in Lapio, in the hills of Irpinia, drawn by his passion for Fiano and a desire to build something lasting alongside his son, Adolfo. The estate sits at roughly 480 meters in the shadow of Monte Tuoro, a position that shelters the vines from harsh weather while providing steady winds and a wide swing between day and night temperatures ideal for slow, even ripening. Working with consulting enologist Angelo Valentino, the family has built a reputation for wines that stay true to Campania's native varieties, Fiano, Greco, Aglianico, and Falanghina, earning recognition from critics, including a Wine Spectator nod for pushing the boundaries of Fiano di Avellino.

For this Falanghina, Tenuta Scuotto sources fruit from trusted growers farming some of the best vineyards for the variety in the surrounding area, hand harvesting in the second half of October to ensure full ripeness and balanced acidity. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and deliberately kept out of oak, a choice Valentino makes across the estate's whites specifically to preserve the grape's primary character rather than layer it with wood.

The wine shows a fresh, aromatic profile with fruity and floral notes. The palate is clean and persistent, with a pleasant sapidity. It pairs well with mixed soups, fish cooked "acqua pazza" style, or white meats in stew.
