Venica & Venica is a family-owned winery established in 1930 in the heart of Friuli's Collio region, on the border with Slovenia. Brothers Gianni and Giorgio Venica have long guided the estate's commitment to sustainable and organic farming, building a reputation for wines that express the purity and character of this border terroir. In 1999 the brothers set aside a special hillside plot with the specific goal of crafting a true single-vineyard expression of Friulano, a project that became Ronco delle Cime.

The name translates to "Hill of Peaks," referring to the estate's highest vineyard, at 200 meters above sea level with a northwest exposure toward the mountains. The site's sandstone marl soils and cool mountain breezes give the grapes a distinctive freshness. After harvest, the wine ferments and ages on its lees for six months, split between large wooden casks and stainless steel, a combination that builds texture while preserving the fruit's natural clarity.

The wine shows a bright golden yellow color, with intense aromas of Williams pear, yellow peach, and delicate herbs and wildflowers, closing with a light almond note. The palate is full-bodied, warm, and harmonious, with real freshness balancing its richness. It pairs beautifully with cured ham, aged cow's and goat's milk cheeses, and pasta with seafood.
