2025 Badenhorst - Curator White Blend (750ml)

Each vintage, winemaker Adi Badenhorst consults with a group of fellow winemakers to determine the best "curated" blend of grapes — a collaborative spirit that makes this wine truly one of a kind. Predominantly Chenin Blanc with Chardonnay and Viognier, sourced from old bush vines grown on granite and slate soils in the Swartland, with smaller quantities of Sémillon, Colombard, and Roussanne added to the assemblage depending on the vintage. Chenin Blanc provides the backbone and structure, while naturally fermented Chardonnay contributes great texture and aromas of dried peaches, apricots, and ripe citrus. Viognier rounds out the blend with a touch of spice and palate length. Fresh, bright, and well-structured, with notes of dried stone fruit, blossomy citrus, and a hint of aromatic spice — beautifully made and endlessly versatile at the table.
