Baglio Ingardia sits at the foot of Mount Erice, in the countryside of Trapani in western Sicily, on a property whose roots reach back to the eighteenth century, when Baron Todaro della Galia built the estate's namesake baglio, a traditional Sicilian farm compound, and planted its first olive groves. Salvatore Ingardia later founded the modern winery, which today is run by his daughter Mariella alongside grandsons Nicola and Salvatore. The family has built its reputation on organic farming and sustainable practices across the estate, extending that same philosophy from its award-winning olive oils into a small, focused range of Sicilian wines.

Sisilì is crafted from a blend of Grillo and Zibibbo, two grape varieties deeply tied to western Sicily, farmed organically on the estate's vineyards near Mount Erice. The vines benefit from the region's warm, dry climate and mineral-rich soils, conditions that let both grapes reach full ripeness while holding onto natural acidity. Following harvest, the wine is fermented and finished with a brief passage through wood, a light touch meant to add a little roundness without masking the fruit's aromatic character.

The wine shows pale straw color and an elegant, floral nose, with notes of green banana typical of the Grillo grape and a gentle hint of vanilla from its time in barrel. On the palate it is fresh, soft, and mineral, dry across a clean, balanced finish. It pairs nicely with grilled swordfish, briny olives and cured meats, or a simple caprese salad.
