2025 Baudry - Chinon Rose (750ml)

One of the Loire's most beloved rosés, from a domaine that has defined the Chinon appellation for decades — now joined by son Matthieu. Sourced primarily from "Les Balais," a small plateau vineyard above La Croix Boissée with stony clay and silex soils over limestone; hand-harvested, gently direct-pressed, and fermented slowly in unlined cement vats with wild yeasts and minimal sulfur until bone dry. The 2025 is simply beautiful — very light pink in color, with gorgeous subtle fruit, citrus, and stone aromas; the palate is elegant and silky with pure berry fruit and refreshing acidity. One of the most refined, terroir-driven rosés in France at any price.
