The Braida name traces back to Giuseppe Bologna, whose nickname was later passed down to his great grandson Giacomo Bologna, the winery's founder and a figure credited with elevating Barbera to a status usually reserved for more prestigious varieties. Today the estate is run by Giacomo's children, Raffaella and Giuseppe, both trained oenologists carrying forward their father's vision from Rocchetta Tanaro. Braida farms hillside vineyards across a range of elevations and soil types, producing wines that stretch from serious, age worthy reds to lighter, joyful bottlings like this one.

Vigna Senza Nome, meaning vineyard without a name, comes entirely from Moscato d'Asti grapes grown on estate owned land in Mango, an area known for its clay and calcareous soils suited to sweet wine production. The grapes macerate briefly on their skins in a horizontal press before a gentle white winemaking process begins. The wine then undergoes its secondary fermentation in temperature controlled autoclave tanks for about twenty days, followed by cold stabilization, light filtration, and a short period of bottle aging before release.

This Moscato d'Asti pours a bright straw yellow with a soft froth and fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is wonderfully varied, offering fresh fruit alongside orange blossom, rose, and musk, while the palate turns gracefully sweet with the grape's signature aromatic character and a long, lingering finish. It makes a lovely aperitif or dessert wine, pairing especially well with fruit tarts, pastries, panettone, or a wedge of Castelmagno cheese.
