Te Muna Road sits just outside the Martinborough township, tracing the Huangarua River in a valley known for dramatic swings between day and night temperatures. High wind exposure and ancient alluvial soils layered with gravel and clay make the site ideal for slow ripening, allowing Sauvignon Blanc to develop real purity, drive, and structure. Within the vineyard, the Sauvignon Blanc is planted on a lower terrace over stony soils flecked with limestone, a distinct subsite that shapes the wine's mineral character.

Grown on these lower terraces, the wine shows remarkable texture and layered complexity, with Martinborough's cool climate delivering lifted aromatics and fine, steely minerality, while the rocky soils intensify the fruit. The 2025 vintage is fresh and exuberant, with typical aromas of passionfruit pulp interwoven with lime leaf, and a palate showing the succulence and sophistication this vineyard is known for.

This is a standout example of Martinborough Sauvignon Blanc, more textural and complex than many of its Marlborough counterparts. Pair it with fresh seafood, goat cheese, or light Asian-inspired dishes.

93 Points
"Intense Key lime, lemongrass and pear flavors are fleshy, bright and precise in this white, showing details of tangerine, kiwifruit and grapefruit, with sleek notes of saline and green tea, plus a hint of white pepper on a mouthwatering frame."
