2025 Fontanassa - Gavi di Gavi DOCG (750ml)

Fontanassa is a family estate in Gavi's Rovereto district run by brothers Marco and Roberto Gemme, farming 24 hectares without chemicals across all stages of production, a commitment to traditional, low-intervention winemaking. This "Gavi di Gavi" designation means the fruit comes specifically from within the Gavi commune itself, considered the appellation's most prestigious source. Made entirely from Cortese, it shows a straw-yellow color with green reflections, a nose of citrus, grapefruit, cut grass, and white flowers, moving into a dry, fresh, mineral-driven palate with good sapidity and a persistent finish. A crisp, food-friendly white and a benchmark expression of the Gavi style.
