Lunae is a family winery in Luni, in the far eastern corner of Liguria, named for the ancient Roman city known as the City of the Moon. Paolo Bosoni made this Vermentino as the estate's first wine more than forty years ago, and Etichetta Grigia, or Grey Label, remains the signature bottling of both the winery and the Colli di Luni zone.

The grapes grow in vineyards around Castelnuovo Magra and Ortonovo, south of the Magra River, where Liguria meets Tuscany between La Spezia and the Apuan Alps. This Colli di Luni DOC wine is 100% Vermentino, harvested by hand in mid-September. It ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel and rests briefly in steel before bottling, which preserves its fruit and freshness.

Straw yellow with greenish hues, the 2025 shows lemon zest, lime, and grapefruit, joined by hawthorn, white peach, apple, chamomile, myrtle leaf, and a touch of acacia honey. The palate is soft and round, with acidity balanced by a pleasant savory, salty edge. A fruity finish of remarkable persistence completes a fresh, elegant white with a distinctly coastal character.
