Patricia Green Cellars has spent most of its history focused on an extensive range of single-vineyard Pinot Noirs, but Sauvignon Blanc has become an increasingly important part of the program as demand for the variety grows across Oregon. Winemakers Jim Anderson and Matt Kinne have leaned into the category in recent vintages, joining a small but growing group of Willamette Valley producers proving the grape has a real home in the region's cooler climate.

The 2025 bottling is the winery's most diverse Sauvignon Blanc yet, drawing on fruit from several sites across the valley, including the estate vineyard and a significant portion from Croft Vineyard, a site with real name recognition in Oregon for the variety, which makes up close to forty percent of the final blend. Grown across a mix of volcanic and marine sedimentary soils, the grapes are fermented mostly in stainless steel, with a portion aged in acacia wood puncheons to build texture and lift the wine's natural aromatics.

The result is a brilliant pale straw wine with a faint green hue, offering expressive aromas of lime, citrus, and stone fruit layered over a firm, textural palate. Bright acidity carries through a long, energetic finish. It pairs beautifully with raw bar oysters, spring pea dishes, or fresh goat cheese.
