Beluga Gold Line (Leather) Vodka 750ml
Beluga Gold Line carries forward the brand's history from the Mariinsk Distillery in Siberia, founded in 1900 and responsible for launching the first Beluga vodka in 2002. Since 2022, the international rights to Beluga, outside Russia, belong to Noblewood Group, a Montenegro-based company that now sources its wheat spirit from a distillery in Latvia before finishing and bottling in Montenegro. Gold Line sits at the top of the Beluga range as its limited-edition, connoisseur-focused expression, distinguished as much by its elaborate presentation as by what is inside the bottle.
Gold Line begins with a base of winter wheat and pure artesian spring water, distilled and blended using the same core Beluga methods applied across the lineup. What separates this expression is its filtration: rather than the standard three rounds, the spirit passes through five stages of filtering, and the finished vodka then rests for a full 90 days before bottling. Each bottle is individually numbered, sealed with a wax-covered cork, and presented with a small hammer and brush used to break the seal, a ritual meant to underscore the bottle's exclusivity.
The nose is clean, elegant, and fresh, carrying a creamy note alongside a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, the vodka feels remarkably pure and silky, with layered flavors of vanilla, white pepper, and sage unfolding across the tongue. The finish runs long and crisp, with the trace of vanilla lingering the longest before fading.
