While the original Benchmark brand built its reputation as an affordable, everyday pour, this release pushes the line in a bolder direction, sharing shelf space with the same distillery's more sought-after labels like Eagle Rare and E.H. Taylor while keeping its own accessible price point intact.

Full Proof is bottled directly at 125 proof, the same strength at which the whiskey entered the barrel, with no water added to bring it down. It draws from Buffalo Trace's traditional low-rye Mash Bill #1, the same recipe behind Eagle Rare, E.H. Taylor, and George T. Stagg, and ages a minimum of four years in new, charred American oak. The whiskey is non-chill filtered, preserving the fuller texture and richer character that typically comes only with pricier barrel-proof releases.

Caramel, brown sugar, and dark cocoa open the nose alongside toasted oak and warm baking spice. The palate is bold and full-bodied, delivering toffee, cinnamon, vanilla bean, dried cherry, and a touch of peanut shell. The finish runs long and warming, closing on charred oak and sweet corn.
