Booker's Springfield Batch 2024-01 comes from Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont, Kentucky. The brand was established in 1988 by Frederick Booker Noe II, Jim Beam's grandson and a sixth-generation master distiller, who originally hand-selected barrels as personal holiday gifts before demand turned it into a full product line. This batch honors Springfield, the small central Kentucky town where Booker was born and raised, and continues under current master distiller Fred Noe, Booker's son.

Like every Booker's release, this whiskey is bottled straight from the barrel, uncut and unfiltered, with no two batches sharing the same proof or age. Springfield Batch draws from five production dates stored across four separate rackhouses, aging a combined seven years, seven months, and eight days before bottling at a robust 124.5 proof. The mashbill runs roughly seventy-seven percent corn, thirteen percent rye, and ten percent malted barley.

Cinnamon spice leads the aroma, layered with sweet brown sugar, vanilla, and fleeting touches of aged oak and leather. The palate turns bold and warming, delivering baking spices, nougat, orange, and rich chocolate over dried herbs and tobacco. The finish runs long, building toward a powerful, satisfying close.
