Campbeltown Loch Black Label Blended Malt Whiskey 700ml

 Produced by J&A Mitchell (owners of Springbank) and vatted and bottled at Springbank Distillery, Campbeltown Loch is a genuine celebration of the region — combining all five single malts from Campbeltown's three surviving distilleries: Springbank, Hazelburn, and Longrow (all Springbank), plus Glen Scotia and Kilkerran. Matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, it shows classic Campbeltown character — sea salt, buttery richness, ginger and pecan on the nose, moving into salted caramel and date syrup on the palate, with a subtle wisp of peat smoke building through the finish. An excellent, well-priced introduction to the Campbeltown style, with a bit of batch variation that regulars have come to expect and appreciate.
