Grand Old Parr traces back to 1909, when brothers James and Samuel Greenlees, already established blenders from a business they founded in 1871, brought the brand to market. Its name honors Thomas Parr, reputed to be England's longest-lived man at a claimed 152 years, and the whisky's distinctive dimpled bottle was designed to evoke a sense of timeless, old-world craftsmanship. The blend is built around Cragganmore as its base malt, with Glendullan playing a major role in the recipe since World War II, and today the brand ranks among the best-selling Scotch whiskies in Latin America.

The 18 Year Old joined the permanent Old Parr lineup in 2022 as an older sibling to the brand's long-running 12 Year Old. It is a blend of aged malt and grain whiskies drawn from across Scotland, brought together to create a rounder, more matured character than the younger expression while retaining the brand's approachable, smooth style. It is bottled at 40% ABV.

The nose offers dried fruit, honey, and toasted oak with a whisper of smoke. On the palate, caramel and vanilla meet dark chocolate and warm spice, while the finish stretches long with oak, sherry-like sweetness, and lingering spice. It pairs well with roasted nuts or a semi-firm cheese.
