Nolet's Silver Dry Gin 750ml
The Nolet family has distilled in Schiedam, Netherlands since 1691, giving them more than three centuries of experience that eventually produced the widely known Ketel One vodka. Nolet's Silver Dry Gin, launched in 2010, was created by tenth-generation distiller Carolus Nolet Sr. together with his sons Carl Jr. and Bob, and it marked the family's move into gin with a style built for a newer generation of drinkers rather than a nod to old genever traditions.
The gin starts with a European wheat-based neutral spirit, chosen for its clean profile. Traditional botanicals, including juniper, citrus, orris root, and licorice, are individually macerated for at least a day and distilled in a custom copper pot still before joining contemporary elements such as Turkish rose, white peach, and raspberry. The finished blend rests for several days in a stainless steel tank to marry before bottling at 47.6% ABV.
Rather than a juniper-forward profile, the nose opens with rose petal, ripe peach, and summer fruit, while the palate carries raspberry, Turkish delight, and orris root with juniper appearing only as a quiet backnote. The finish is smooth and refined. It works particularly well in a modern martini or gin fizz, where its floral, fruit-driven character can stand on its own.
