Laherte Frères is a family estate founded in 1889 in Chavot, in the Coteaux Sud d'Épernay. Aurélien Laherte represents the seventh generation to run the domaine, taking over in 2005 and pushing the estate toward biodynamic and organic farming across its many small parcels. The family now tends roughly seventy-five plots spread across Épernay, the Vallée de la Marne, and the Côte des Blancs, with an emphasis on letting each site's terroir show clearly in the glass.

This Blanc de Blancs comes from limestone-rich parcels around Chavot and Épernay, made from Chardonnay that is barrel-fermented and blended from two or more vintages to build depth. Roughly half of the base wine undergoes malolactic fermentation, softening the acidity just enough to balance the wine's racy structure. No dosage is added at disgorgement, placing this cuvée firmly in the Brut Nature category and letting the fruit stand fully exposed.

The wine offers aromas of ripe pear, apple, and raw almond, layered with chalky soil tones, bread dough, and a whisper of smoke. The palate is bright, full-bodied, and focused, with lively acidity and a long, mineral-driven finish. Serve with raw oysters, ceviche, or a young goat cheese.
