Tomatin is one of the Highlands' most historic distilleries, dating to 1897 and once the largest malt whisky distillery in Scotland by volume. This 12 Year entry-level expression is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, giving it a balance between the lighter, vanilla-driven character of American oak and the richer, fruitier depth of sherry casks. Expect a nose of honey, malt, and dried fruit, moving into a smooth, well-rounded palate of orchard fruit, toffee, and light spice, finishing gently with a touch of oak.
