A lower-strength bourbon from Wild Turkey, bottled at 81 proof (40.5% ABV) and created by associate distiller Eddie Russell, son of longtime master distiller Jimmy Russell. The high-rye mash bill and heavy char give it real flavor and complexity without the heat of the 101 proof. Nose is spiced and oaky with vanilla fudge, rye spice, and coffee bean; palate is rich and thick with caramel, manuka honey, and hints of rhubarb and custard; finish closes on caramel, coffee, and Black Forest honey.
