Speymhor 15 yr Aged in Oak Barrels Single Malt Whiskey 700ml

Speymhor is a single malt Scotch collection established by Graham Taylor and Stuart Hendry, two veterans of the Scotch whiskey industry with a combined seven decades of experience, including their earlier work founding Glasgow Whisky. Together they built the Speymhor range to showcase the qualities they most valued in single malt, drawing many of the whiskies from distilleries in the Speyside region while aiming to appeal to newcomers and connoisseurs alike.

This 15 Year Old expression is matured in traditional former bourbon barrels, a maturation approach chosen to let the character of the American oak come through clearly over an extended aging period. The whiskey is bottled at 40% ABV, reflecting the straightforward, traditional style that defines the Speymhor range.

The color is a sparkling golden amber, with a nose that opens with sweet honey, ripe fruit, and a hint of oak. On the palate, the whiskey carries a dry, citrus character alongside a touch of peat, finishing smooth and warming with flavors that linger pleasantly after the last sip.
