Ten To One is a rum brand founded with the goal of reintroducing rum to modern drinkers as a serious sipping spirit rather than just a mixer, building its portfolio around blending traditions from across the Caribbean. Since launching its core White and Dark rums, the brand has expanded with occasional limited releases, and in February 2024 introduced Five Origin Select as a permanent, though limited-quantity, addition to the lineup, positioned above the rest of the range.

Five Origin Select brings together rums from five Caribbean nations: Trinidad, Barbados, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Guyana. The centerpiece of the blend is Guyanese rum aged eleven to fifteen years, distilled on the historic Port Mourant double wooden pot still, the last of its kind still in operation. The finished blend contains no added sugar, coloring, or flavoring, and is bottled at 92 proof for a fuller, more assertive character suited to slow sipping.

The nose offers tropical fruit, brown sugar, and toasted oak, with hints of citrus zest and light florals. On the palate, caramelized sugar and molasses give way to banana and pineapple, baking spices, hazelnut, and a whisper of earthy funk from the Jamaican component, finishing long with vanilla and a touch of ginger.
