Since we're closed this weekend for the holiday, we've decided to throw an impromptu Thursday afternoon tasting featuring a few gems from California and Washington.

No big production — just seven bottles we've been excited about, open and ready to pour. Stop in, taste your way down the counter, and stock up before the long weekend hits.

2023 Talley Chardonnay, Estate, San Luis Obispo — the winery's signature white, made from vines planted back to their very first vintage
2023 Vivier Chardonnay, Sonoma Mountain, Van der Kamp — small-production, Burgundy-trained winemaking, hands-off and terroir-driven
2022 Massican "Annia," Napa — a Bordeaux-white-meets-Italian-varieties blend from 2017's SF Chronicle Winemaker of the Year
2023 L'Ecole No. 41 "Luminesce," Estate, Washington — Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, rich and floral in equal measure
2021 Brady Vineyard Zinfandel, Paso Robles — deep crimson, ripe raspberry, cracked pepper, a little vanilla
2022 MacArthur Beverages Cabernet Merlot, Napa — our own label, built for easy weeknight drinking
2023 Ashes & Diamonds Cabernet Sauvignon No. 2, Napa — light-handed, old-school Napa winemaking from right on Highway 29, with special in-store-only pricing during the tasting!
