2023 Marc Colin - St. Aubin Cuvee Luce (750ml)

 Named for winemaker Damien Colin's maternal grandmother, Luce is a blend of three distinct parcels, giving it real complexity for a village-level bottling. The 2023 shows a pronounced marine, saline character — think old shucked oyster shell — alongside crisp white fruit and orchard notes, with tight, well-focused acidity. Structured rather than showy in its youth, this is built for a few years in the cellar to fill out, though it will also drink well on release. From one of St-Aubin's most respected family estates, now run by siblings Damien and Caroline Colin.
