2022 Kelvin Feku - Grenache Noir W.O. Wellington (750ml)

A thrilling expression of Grenache from one of South Africa's most exciting emerging producers. From the Wellington ward — a warm, inland valley northeast of Paarl known for intense, sun-drenched fruit — this is a wine made with a distinctly natural touch. The grapes were basket pressed and left undisturbed in foudre for nine months, resulting in a diaphanous crimson pour that charms with perfumed wild raspberry, crunchy cherry, smoked plum, tobacco, and fragrant rooibos tea, lingering long on a saline finish.  Think Southern Rhône meets the Cape — lithe, aromatic, and utterly food-friendly. Serve with a slight chill.
