2021 Chave - Hermitage Rouge
Among the finest expressions of the 2021 vintage with finessed ripeness and understated polish. Earthy and salty offering sanguine animal notes and well-integrated white pepper freshness. Cashmere tannins are softened yet still keep a gentle grip on the f...
2021 Chave - Saint-Joseph Estate
The 2021s here are certainly strong wines in the vintage. The 2021 Saint Joseph is a healthy dense ruby/purple hue and offers textbook Saint Joseph aromas and flavors of black fruit (there's a hint of red fruit as well), graphite, ground pepper, and some ...
2019 Chave, Yann - Hermitage Rouge
A complex bouquet evokes ripe blackberry, cherry compote, licorice and violet, energized by a spicy cracked pepper nuance. Broad and fleshy in the mouth, offering densely packed, smoke-tinged black/blue fruit, exotic spice and floral pastille flavors that...

The flagship 2020 Cornas is a beauty! Clearly in the same league as recent top vintages, it has a wild bouquet of black and blue fruits, liquid violets, game, and iron, with some incense and spice thrown in for good measure. It's slightly more round and s...
2022 Clape - Cornas (750ml) PRE ARRIVAL

2022 Clos des Papes - Chateauneuf du Pape (750ml) PRE ARRIVAL

2022 Domaine de Mourchon - Gigondas (750ml)
Mourchon's very talented winemaker, Sébastien, is a Gigondas native and knows everyone in the village. A few years ago, I mentioned to him that I wished Mourchon made a Gigondas, and he told me he'd be happy to craft one for us using a secret source from one of his vigneron friends. I thought he was joking—until a sample arrived. Fantastic stuff! And he still won't tell me where he sources it from... It's obviously someone very good.
