2021 St. Cosme - Saint-Joseph

750ml | SKU 97719 | 12 Available
93 JS

Stacks of dark forest berries plus notes of smoke, pepper and tar make this a very expressive St.-Joseph. Impressive depth and ripeness for the 2021 vintage on the front and mid-palates, then the stony minerality kicks in giving it more power at the sleek...

2020 St. Cosme - Cote Rotie

750ml | SKU 91284 | 14 Available
94-96 JD

I loved the 2020 Côte Rôtie, which is certainly the standout from the North. Coming from both the southern and northern ends of the appellation, it’s full-bodied, ripe, and textured, yet never loses a sense of Côte Rôtie elegance. Lots of bacon fat, exoti...

Leading off the Gigondas, the base 2020 Gigondas has lots of black raspberry, ground pepper, and violets notes as well as a round, supple, silky style on the palate. It should be approachable on release, yet it has plenty of mid-palate depth as well as ta...

2020 Thomas Farge - Saint-Joseph Grande Angle

750ml | SKU 97270 | Available

Surrounded by wine, even living in the middle of his vineyards, Thomas’ energy and excitement for this region is palpable. Given his deep ties to the area, he has had the opportunity to learn from some of the great winemakers in the Northern Rhône, such as Jean-Louis Chave and Stéphane Usseglio. He constantly seeks ways to bring new ideas to his century-plus family lineage, making his mark with wines that show freshness, intensity, and finesse.

2019 Vieille Julienne - Chateauneuf du Pape Les Trois Sources

750ml | SKU 88728 | 56 Available
96+ JD
"More cassis, morello cherry, Asian spice, and a beautiful sense of minerality and loamy earth emerge from the 2019 Chateauneuf Du Pape Les Trois Sources, a full-bodied, concentrated blend of 60% Grenache, 15% each of Cinsault and Syrah, and the balance Mourvedre. Coming all from the estate's sandy soils in the northern part of the appellation, this incredibly concentrated, textured wine has perfect balance, building tannins, and a great finish. Give this beauty another 4-5 years in the cellar and drink it over the following two decades or more." 96+ Points Jeb Dunnuck

2019 Vieille Julienne - Chateauneuf du Pape Reserve

750ml | SKU 88730 | Available
100 JD
"Lastly, the 2019 Chateauneuf Du Pape Reserve is another magical wine, and I might have rated this cuvee a perfect score more than any other Southern Rhone. Unquestionably in the same realm as the 2017, 2016, 2010, 2005, 2003, and 2001, it has an incredible, full-bodied, massive style that somehow stays perfectly balanced, with flawless integration of its fruit, tannins, acidity, and alcohol. Lots of red, blue, and black fruits, loamy earth, Asian spice, licorice, and violet nuances emerge from the glass, and it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, building yet polished tannins, and a great, great finish. It's a sexier, more opulent wine than the Les Hauts-Lieux release yet has the same perfect tannins that are so rare to find in the vintage. This required at least 4-5 years of bottle age and will drink brilliantly for 20-25+ years." 100 Points Jeb Dunnuck
