Chianti has been a long-standing leading category in Tuscany for us at Bassin’s due to the large selection of quality bottlings available at good prices. In addition to the range of wine some of the best Chianti wines are at comparatively low prices for value next to other appellations. I think often people do not realize the tremendous variation in fruit expression from different wineries since many are so good they settle on bottlings without finding the breadth of good wines out there. The high quality of these wines can easily be recognized comparing them in tastings. After tasting a great question for wine aficionados can be raised “What is it that defines the this wine over another? It could be terroir , exposure, winemaking, or maybe vintage?" We hope to see you to taste and join in the conversation. The great thing about wine is it is hard to have one favorite. I just go for the one that fits my menu or my mood and we have many for you to choose. “Salute”
