We're happy to welcome back Jack Halsey of Roanoke Valley Wine Company for a fun, themed tasting this Saturday. Jack's brought together six wines from his excellent West Coast portfolio that all share a common thread: single-vineyard or vineyard-specific bottlings from producers who talk about dirt and site the way Burgundians do.

It's a great chance to explore the idea that Oregon and California aren't monolithic, they're patchworks of tiny, distinct sites, and these winemakers are laser-focused on letting each one speak for itself. We're calling it "It's All About the Vineyard", starting with a cool-climate Chardonnay, moving through four different expressions of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir (each from its own site or blend of sites), and finishing big with a Russian River Zinfandel from one of California’s most iconic names.
