Think You Know South America? Think Again.
Artisan wines from Brazos Imports, with Robert McFarlane of Potomac Selections.
Saturday, November 7 | 1:00 to 4:00 PM
Please join us Saturday as Robert McFarlane a true “legend” of the DC wine scene is back once again to pour some awesome wines from Chile and Argentina. Forget the big, glossy Malbec and the bargain-bin Cab. There’s a whole other South America out there, and it’s one of the most exciting places in the wine world right now. Think 150-year-old vines farmed by hand, volcanic and granite soils, high-desert mountain sites, and young winemakers digging up grapes most people have never heard of.
Robert McFarlane will pour six artisan bottles from Brazos Imports, a portfolio built on small growers and serious terroir. If you are a fan of Kermit Lynch, Dressner, etc we’d like to think these are South American equivalent. Authentic wines with soul and character made by farmers. Come thirsty, come curious, and leave with a new favorite.
