Armagnac

Blend of at least 4 different vintages, the youngest of which has aged at least 10 years in barrels made of Gascon pedunculated oak. It has a beautiful copper colour, a wide range of aromas (prune, orange, vanilla) and a big complexity in mouth. After a meal : drink slowly while warming up your glass in your hand, so you can appreciate all the aromas of this superb spirit. Slowly one gets a wide range of aromas with powerful pastry notes and a high fineness

100% Baco. Exceptional

This Darroze bottling is devastatingly good, what old traditional Armagnac was meant to taste like. Unabashedly manly and earthy, with floral notes like a boutonniere on a lapel and aromas of swirling cigar smoke. In the mouth, it's surprisingly fresh and fruity, balanced by dark coffee and fresh tobacco. Serious rancio on the midpalate, that continues on and on and on. Seamless and classic. 

100% Baco. Exceptional. 

Light chestnut colour with golden tints. The nose is still very expressive, almost pungent. Oaky and fruity flavours prevail. On the palate, the tannins are of exceptional quality and confer great finesse on this armagnac from a superb terroir. 

At 40 years, the Armagnac’s style is definitely apparent. The quality of the oak used is very important, as the right use of a quality barrel will bring complexity and finesse to the Armagnac; elements that can be judged and appreciated after 40 years in contact with the wood.

100% Ugni Blanc. Rich and well-balanced.

Much of the distillation at Domaine de Laposte in Tenareze was carried out in the 70s, which is why Darroze offers several vintages from that period; all different, but all retaining that special character, due to both the terroir and the Faget family know-how.

20 years old, the prime of life. This Armagnac is full of life and displays a lovely character. Already the alcohol is tamed, the tannins more refined and the aromas take shape. It is certainly the most wonderful age for the Armagnac enthusiast who appreciates the force and the maturity.

100% Baco grapes. Powerful and expressive.
