Armagnac

The nose is rich, finely wooded and marked by aromas of composed yellow fruits. On the palate the alcohol manifests its presence delicately with notes of cooked, spicy prune, associated with a slight rancio. 

A long finish, ending with a hint of coffee. 100% Baco grapes

Nose: The nose is frank with aromas of tobacco and roasted nuts.
Mouth: We find a beautiful balance on the palate carried by menthol notes.
Finale: At the end of the mouth we find the first olfactory notes of tobacco as well as a slight woodiness.

45% Baco/45% Ugni Blanc/10% Folle Blanche. Powerful and expressive.

At 40 years, the Armagnac’s style is definitely apparent. The quality of the oak used is very important, as the right use of a quality barrel will bring complexity and finesse to the Armagnac; elements that can be judged and appreciated after 40 years in contact with the wood.

100% Ugni Blanc. Rich and well-balanced.

Much of the distillation at Domaine de Laposte in Tenareze was carried out in the 70s, which is why Darroze offers several vintages from that period; all different, but all retaining that special character, due to both the terroir and the Faget family know-how.

20 years old, the prime of life. This Armagnac is full of life and displays a lovely character. Already the alcohol is tamed, the tannins more refined and the aromas take shape. It is certainly the most wonderful age for the Armagnac enthusiast who appreciates the force and the maturity.
