After having a chance to taste with the winemaker in Italy, this wine made a great impression. Their process and outcome has made me a believer in this winery.  Immediately there is a dazzling vibrance of raspberry and cherry with hints of spice and slowly the fine tannin and structure of the wine round out a finish showing potential for aging.  A classic elegant sangiovese in a quintesential Vino nobile style showcasing the Prugnolo gentile sangiovese clone's beauty.
