Grown on limestone and clay soils this blend of 70% Nero d’Avola and 30% Frappato starts with separate temperature controlled fermentations and is then blended and aged in stainless steel and bottle before release. The color is cherry red with light tinges giving notes of peach, marasca cherry, violet and floral aromas. On the palate comes dusty floral essence followed by blackberry, mineral and spice notes. The texture is silky with light structure having a second wave of red berries, lavender and orange hints and a mild but pleasing juicy finish.
