"Groppolo" Vermentino comes from carefully managed, organic vineyards, and showcases the purity and vibrancy that Vermentino is known for. This wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel to preserve its fresh, zesty character. On the nose, the "Groppolo" Vermentino offers inviting aromas of lemon zest, white peach, and green apple, with subtle floral notes of jasmine and a hint of saline minerality. On the palate, the wine is crisp and refreshing, with lively acidity that complements the bright citrus and stone fruit flavors. The finish is long and clean, with a touch of sea spray, reflecting the vineyard’s proximity to the coast.
The Maladiere climat is located mid-slope, between 300 and 320 metres altitude, with the domaine's 5ha of vines including some vines older than 50 years. The mix of browner, clay based soils on the western side and the higher limestone content in the east results in well-structured and appealing wines with complex aromas from long oak ageing.
