Finally back in stock! Our best-selling Sancerre and by far our most requested. The new version is better than ever!
There’s a lovely lychee note here, which colors the ripe-apple and sandy-soil mineral character. Medium-bodied with an intense yet relaxed and silky core of fruit and spice that drives through. Nicely contained, yet focused. Drink now.
From the Monção e Melgaço sub-region of northern Portugal, the natural home of the alvarinho grape, and made by one of its finest producers, who uses a little skin contact (hence the name) to give structure to this invigorating linear dinner-table white.
A pretty full-bodied Vino Nobile with dried strawberries, plums, hazelnuts and some blood oranges on the nose. The fruit is juicy but the mouthfeel is round and supple. Tannins are supportive and fine. Drink or hold.
Lots of rose petal and cherry aromas with some sandalwood. Full-bodied with velvety and structured tannins on the palate. Layered and intense. Flavorful finish. Very well done for the vintage. Give it three to four years to soften the tannins.
