A wine of superior character and style... This handsome, brooding Pinot offers multilayered raspberry and cherry flavors highlighted by spiced cinnamon and sandalwood notes before finishing with medium-grained tannins. Drink now through 2033.
The 2021 Pinot Noir la Encantada Vineyard, made with 15% whole clusters, has wild aromas of iron, pipe tobacco, woodsmoke, autumn leaves, cola and lavender with a core of red berry fruit. The medium-bodied palate balances concentrated fruit with lacy tann...
The 2022 Marsannay Les Favières unwinds in the glass with notes of wild berries mingled with orange zest, licorice, rose petals and spices. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, it's deep and racy, with a dense core of fruit framed by powdery tannins...
The 2021 Pinot Noir Wendling Vineyard is phenomenal. Dark and pliant, with tremendous vertical intensity, the Wendling is outrageously beautiful. Succulent dark fruit, lavendar, rose petal, spice, new leather, blood orange, and a good deal of whole clus...
Winemaker's Notes: The Pinot noir, Villages Cuvée has robust sweet spice aromas with lovely black cherry, smoky berry and dark rose notes. Juicy and pungent flavors of dark cherry, wild strawberry, allspice, cinnamon with a touch of smoke fill your mouth. Beautifully balanced with soft tannins and fresh acidity, the finish slowly fades into supple dried fruit and spices. Still young now the wine will fill out through the winter and into the spring. This is my favorite wine for Thanksgiving and flavorful white meat dishes. It is just as good with burgers, brats and pizza. Enjoy now through 2030.

We tasted this a few months ago with owner Mark Vlossak and it was an instant staff favorite. I'm not sure why Pinot Blanc doesn't get more "love" as it's very food friendly and usually nicely priced. Mark started making this wine back in 1997. He's a true pioneer on the Oregon wine scene, and this comes from his most famous vineyard: Freedom Hill, which of course also produces world class Pinot Noir. Medium weight, with great texture and more aromatics than your usual Pinot Blanc, this is a an example of great vineyard practice and winemaking.
