Monnet VS Cognac is a vibrant young blend of distinctly floral eaux-de-vie that also delights with spicy notes and a hint of vanilla. Having aged in Limousin oak casks for two years, its distillation process was carried out with lees for more aromatic elegance. A Cognac staple, worthy of its place in any Cognac collection for its versatility alone - this blend is sure to impress guests in its pure form when served neat or when used to mix cocktails.
Red colour with violet hues, refers to the sweetness of a dark fruit with refined elegance. Intense and rich on the nose, it is both concentrated and harmonious: flowers and fruits to give way to hay, tobacco, spices. Bright summer berries on the palate with graphite veins lead to the discovery of a series of sensations. Predominately Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto. Smaller quantities ofFreisa, Albarossa, Pinot noir. - Winery notes
