The 2022er Trarbacher Schlossberg Riesling Kabinett was made from fruit harvested at 82° Oechsle and was fermented down to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar (51 g/l). It offers a beautiful even if still quite backward nose of made earthy elements, yeast, and only gradually fresher notes of citrus, cassis, elderflower, and whipped cream. The wine offers a nice creamy feel of fresh fruits and ginger wrapped into ripe acidity on the palate. A great kick of zet adds freshness in the long finish. This textbook Kabinett is superbly playful and enjoyable.

The 2022 Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Spätlese offers a clear and finely flinty bouquet of crushed rocks and precise, bright, slightly citric fruit aromas. Lush and concentrated, with lively fruit acidity and savoriness, this Spätlese tastes like a ripe...
First – how awesome to see another “Kabinett Feinherb.” What can we say; we love the genre. This is the magic of Ludes: a finely knit tapestry of flowers, minerals, spice. The wine is angelic, light-footed, soaring, nearly illuminated – the laws of gravity do not apply. This is spirit as much as liquid. A little drier and also less acid than the Kabinett Monster.
This could be one of the most salty and incisive dry Rieslings of the vintage. This is a village-level wine for the ages, Bone dry at just 10% alcohol and 1g of Residual Sugar
