A great choice for traditional chianti drinkers. Dark and earthy with undertones of brush and terroir married with bright juicy cherry and plum fruits.  A well-structured wine with a long finish exhibiting licorice and spice.  Although the wines are sure to mature and the tannins will soften, it can be enjoyed now over a period of several days allowing them release their expression with extended opening.
