Gin XII recipe is the result of intense research aiming to achieve the perfect balance of aromas and flavors. Each botanical, and its exact proportion, aims to obtain a dry gin with both a rich and authentic palate. In order to maintain dominant juniper notes, we selected 12 botanicals that both complete and reveal the aromas of juniper berries. The final recipe of our gin includes 12 ingredients; hence Gin XII. Gin XII stands out for its fresh, menthol, floral, slightly spicy notes and lingering flavor. 

The latest release from The Shed Distillery: an Irish gin with an exotic twist! This gin is distilled with more than 12 east Asian botanicals, gunpowder tea, and a hint of Sardinian citrus - one of the rarest citrus fruits in the world found only on the island of Sardinia. The mix of botanicals and gunpowder tea gives this gin a uniquely fragrant, spice cabinet meets citrus grove aroma. Flavors are a delightful meld of orange and grapefruit, which leads to a juicy and floral finish.

The gin’s nose yields a subtle juniper aroma with an undertone of mountain pine and other herbaceous notes. The taste is complex but strikingly smooth encompassing floral, fruity and spicy flavours which can be enjoyed both straight and in a cocktail. 

Each bottle is custom-made, adorned with hand-written labels and embossed with a crest. Each batch is named after past great tuskers and elephants that Elephant Gin’s partner elephant conservation foundations currently help to protect.

Whilst the Elephant London Dry Gin and Elephant Strength Gin share the same fourteen botanicals, including rare African ingredients, to create their distinctive flavour profiles, the latter uses twice the quantity of botanicals and has an ABV of 57%.

The botanical focus is also specifically centred around juniper, orange peel, mountain pine and African buchu, with its blackcurrant-like flavour profile. The result is a more powerful nose and taste - without losing the silky-smooth character that the Elephant London Dry Gin has become celebrated for.

TASTING NOTES | Offering a nose of citrus, pine cones and a hint of lavender, Solveig combines a creamy entry with an almost ethereal lightness on the palate. Complex and concentrated in the glass after twenty-four hours of air, the gin shows exceptional balance in the mid-palate, with added flavors of thyme and coriander.

Fords Gin is a versatile London Dry Gin that Simon Ford and Master Distiller Charles Maxwell created by taking all of the botanicals present in their favorite classic gin cocktails and putting them into one. A thoughtful mix of nine botanicals, Fords Gin starts with a traditional base of juniper and coriander seed balanced by citrus, florals and spices. Steeped for 15 hours before distillation, the botanicals deliver an aromatic, fresh and floral spirit with elegant notes of jasmine and grapefruit that creates a versatile base for any gin-inspired cocktail.

Gin Mare evokes the Mediterranean. With its eternal blue sky, its characteristic scent of rosemary, basil, and thyme - Gin Mare is Mediterranean by nature. Made using traditional techniques from the Mediterranean, through a delicate maceration and independent distillation which expresses all of the characteristics of each botanical in every sip.

Developed using the flavor of handpicked juniper berries blended with botanicals, following a recipe going back nearly 250 years. A nice gin for gin and tonic.

100% locally grown malted barley vapor infused botanicals rested on sassafras wood staves 45.5% abv (91 proof) Expanding our creative and innovative portfolio of spirits, we introduce Timber. It too is mashed, fermented, distilled, and bottled by hand from 100% malted barley. Our new contemporary style gin is vapor infused with juniper berries, lemon peels, orange peels, cardamom, peppercorn, rose hips, hibiscus, and elderflower. It is then finished on sassafras wood staves. The result is an herbal and earthy clean and crisp spirit, balanced with floral and pepper notes, with a bright unique finish from the sassafras. Delightful on its own or in any classic gin cocktail, it will also appeal to one’s experimental side.

Our flagship Hardshore Original Gin, rested in new American oak barrels for 3 - 6 months to imbue a oaked finish and an amber hue. It's surprising and absolutely stunning!
