Of a pale yellow color and a brilliant golden aspect, this Wine with citrus grapefruit aromas and peach fruit, also features a subtle wood note. Rich & powerful while at the same time both delicate and elegant, of perfect acidity, Chateau Tour Leognan White is indeed a well-balanced Wine.

Another great wine from this château, the 2022 Château Tour Saint Christophe checks in as 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc brought up in 25% new French oak. It has a great nose of red plums, cassis, chalky minerality, and spice, and this full-bodied Sain...
The quality of fruit and salty undertones from the limestone soil are really delicious and exciting. Medium to full body and very fine, velvety tannins that spread across the palate. Bright and crunchy at the end. 80% merlot and 20% cabernet franc.
Tour St. Bonnet is located in Northern part of the Medoc (north of St. Estephe). One of the Médoc’s most reliable overachievers, Château Tour St. Bonnet has been under the stewardship of the Lafon family since the 17th century. The vineyards, planted predominantly to Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with touches of Petit Verdot and Malbec, lie on gravelly soils just north of Saint-Estèphe — prime Left Bank terroir without the lofty price tag.
The 2016 vintage in Bordeaux is already the stuff of legend, and Tour St. Bonnet shows it in spades: deep cassis, graphite, and tobacco leaf framed by supple yet persistent tannins. Unlike many of its neighbors, the wine is aged in traditional large oak foudres rather than small barriques, which preserves purity of fruit and a true expression of terroir.
A classic Cru Bourgeois: structured, honest, and built to drink beautifully now or evolve gracefully over the next decade.
The 2023 Tronquoy-Lalande was picked September 6 to 26 and
contains more Petit Verdot in the blend this year. It matured in onethird new oak plus some newly-introduced foudres and amphorae.

As I wrote earlier this year, the 2019 Tronquoy-Lalande has turned out beautifully, and it continues to show very well, offering up inviting aromas of wild berries, spices, rose petals and cassis. Medium to full-bodied, layered and sensual, with lively ac...
Yvonne Rouge is the original red wine produced at the domaine from the exceptional terroir around Parnay. It’s one of the finest Cabernet Francs from the Loire, and has the seemingly indefinite ageing potential of all truly great wines. Certainly enjoyable on release, it will greatly benefit from 3-5 years in the cellar, and continue to improve for many more
In the heart of the Crus area of Beaujolais, wines of the “Morgon” AOC are often described as best representing the character of their terroir. The appellation is dominated by a hill called Mont du Py. Its soil of decomposed schist gives typical aromas to the wines. Chauvet’s Morgon Côte du Py is produced on this hill peaking at 300m above sea-level. The selected parcels are very sunny on south-oriented steep slopes.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby in color, this wine offers a complex nose, minerally and fruity. It mingles aromas of ripe raspberry, black and morello cherries with hints of flint, ink, clove and black pepper. The highly vibrant palate has a sound underlying structure which is powerful yet velvety, thanks to tannins which despite mellowing, are still very perceptible. This is a stylish wine bearing the hallmarks of its terroir with a long and spicy finish.

Mr. Chauvet was a well-respected winemaker in the 1970’s, who shared his expertise and knowledge with other winemakers in the Beaujolais and Mâconnais regions in the southernmost part of Burgundy. After he passed away, his passion and craft are being carried on by the next generation of dedicated winemakers.
